Employee Highlights: Promotions

June 2023

We are thrilled to announce the promotions of the following Russell Bedford Dubai team members effective from 1 June 2023!

Mara Galang, CPA | Assistant Manager

Mara joined the firm as a Senior Associate in May 2021. She passed the Certified Public Accountant licensure examination in May 2015 and joined EY Philippines in July 2015.

In 2019, she moved to the UAE and worked as an audit-in-charge for one of the mid-tier audit firms in mainland Dubai. She has 7 years of in-depth experience gained through both mid-tier and Big-4 firms in the UAE and Philippines.

Eduardo Penascosa, Jr., CPA | Assistant Manager

Eduardo joined the firm as a Senior Associate in July 2022. He passed the Certified Public Accountant licensure examination in May 2015 and joined EY Philippines in August 2015.

In 2017, he moved to the UAE and worked for one of the mid-tier audit firms in mainland Dubai. He has 7 years of in-depth experience gained through both mid-tier and Big-4 firms in the UAE and Philippines.

Sruthi Cheriyan, ACCA | Supervisor

Sruthi joined the firm as an Experienced Associate in July 2021. She is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK), having passed the examinations in 2017.

After qualifying as an ACCA affiliate, she has worked for HLB Hamt Dubai where she gained in-depth experience in external auditing. She has more than 4 years of experience in the audit industry.
